Dan Knowles started Renew Laser Tattoo Removal in 2017 after his wife tried laser tattoo removal on her blue/green tattoo and it failed miserably.

Unhappy with the progress Dan and his wife researched laser technology and learned that older, q-switched lasers cannot remove blue and green ink. Also, they are less effective at removing other inks making the process take longer and creating the risk of more skin damage.

After extensive training in Denver at the foremost laser academy in the country, Dan, an Army Veteran with some unfortunate tattoos of his own, became a Certified Laser Safety Officer and Certified Laser Tattoo Removal Technician.

At Renew, Dan and his Enlighten III Picosecond laser, specialize in rapid tattoo removal for brides, police academy candidates and anyone interesting in achieving tattoo removal in less time and with fewer treatments. He also specializes in helping people with blue/green tattoos achieve full clearance.

Renew Laser Center is a clean, professional, smoke free shop conveniently located just off Rte 3 in Hanover, making it convenient for clients from Boston to Mansfield to Cape Cod.
